What is the difference between kiln-dried and seasoned wood?Updated 3 years ago

Kiln-dried wood has a lower moisture content (10-15%) vs. seasoned which is slightly higher (20%). Kiln-dried burns a little cleaner because the oven bakes out the natural compounds and minerals that can affect the smoke color. They both would work great for indoor or outdoor fireplaces.
