Is your firewood ready to burn?

Yes. Our wood is kiln-dried. All of our wood undergoes an industry-best drying process in a Kiln. Each log is cut to specific dimensions and  Kiln-dried at 225 degrees for 48 hours, leaving each log at 10-20% moisture content, making it safe for use

Yes. Our wood undergoes an industry-best drying process. Each split is cut to specific dimensions and then baked at 225 degrees for 48 hours in a kiln, exceeding government regulations. We sell kiln-dried oak, hickory, and cherry.

What type of firewood comes in the mixed hardwood option?

The mixed hardwood is mainly White and Red Oak. It may also have some Hickory, Cherry, Ash, Birch, Poplar, Gum, Chestnut, and Maple. There are no softwoods in the mix (such as Pine).

Where do you source your wood and what type of sustainability standards do they meet?

We work with suppliers in Virginia to source premium hardwood. The lumber (all hardwood) is harvested from clearing jobs for developers. Most of that lumber goes to lumber mills but they don't like smaller logs so they turn down the logs with a small

Yes. All of our firewood is safe for use indoors and outdoors.

Can I cook with your firewood?

Yes. Our firewood is kiln-dried and USDA-certified for restaurants, food trucks, amateurs, and at-home chefs. We often use it to cook pizzas in our DIY wood-fired pizza oven.

Will your logs fit in my wood-burning pizza oven?

Yes. Most wood-fired pizza ovens accommodate 16-inch logs. You can email us at [email protected] to request custom lengths.

What is the moisture content of your firewood at delivery?

Our kiln-dried wood measures in the 10-15% moisture range.

How long are your logs?

How much wood will come in my order?

For our 4' x 4' x 16" option you will get approximately 150 logs. For our 4' x 8' x 16" option you will get approximately 300 logs.
